Warwick Township
Located just about 30 miles from Philadelphia, in iconic Bucks County, Pennsylvania, Warwick Township is sometimes confused with Warwick, Pennsylvania, which is actually elsewhere in the state. According to its official website, https://warwick-bucks.com/town-history-2/, “Warwick Township, founded by petition February 13, 1733, was named after a small town in central England. Prior to 1819, the Township boundaries were more extensive and were adjusted when Doylestown Township was established. The Township celebrated its 275th anniversary in style with several celebrations that highlighted some known resources, like the Moland House, along with some lesser known gems, like the Rushland Winery. Warwick has several unique and historical places worth visiting. … The character of the community is mostly suburban, mixed in with some rural and farming. Over 300 acres of open space has been preserved by the Township, with additional acreage preserved under the County Open Space program.”
