Perkasie
Perkasie, located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, is approximately 30 miles north of Philadelphia, midway between Philadelphia and Allentown. Perkasie Borough’s downtown area is now eligible to become a National Historic District after a determination by the Pennsylvania State Historic Preservation Office. And Perkasie’s website proudly declares the area has America’s oldest tree-lighting ceremony; more can be learned by perusing https://perkasieborough.org/.
Two well-known historic Perkasie landmarks are its covered bridge and its carousel, both of which are maintained today by the Perkasie Historical Society. In fact, the South Perkasie Covered Bridge has the honor of having been listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. Perkasie is also known for its farmers market, which was named as ‘winner’ of the Bucks Happening Magazine’s ‘Best in Bucks’ for its category in both 2016 AND 2017, and was a runner-up in 2018, 2019, and 2020.
Residents and business owners today have the best of both worlds: this quiet and historic largely residential community affords easy access to stellar shopping, restaurants, and schools, all within striking distance of what is offered by major cities.
Regularly serving all of Bucks and Montgomery counties, but licensed throughout Pennsylvania, I would be thrilled to help you find your perfect new home or real estate investment. I work with those who are just starting out as well as experienced home buyers, and take the time to listen carefully and then apply my energies to getting you from your first showing to a successful closing, carefully orchestrating all the obvious as well as the hidden details. Forbes recently published a list of attributes that people should look for when choosing a real estate agent. It included good listening skills, adaptability, being a good communicator, experience, and a solid track record; I am proud to say my references would check all of those boxes — and more!
